Freshman Gavin Newton was the state runner-up at 120 pounds, and sophomore Kymani Tinsley took second at 106 pounds. Newton lost 18-3 in the finals to Jackson County’s Mikey Castro, and Tinsley fell 13-7 in the finals to Chattahoochee’s Ryland Aston.
Seckinger junior junior Drew Turenne placed third at 215, and senior Jose Urdaneta Silva was fifth at 285.
